89.7FM Perth A Truly Local Radio Station
The 2016 Relay for Life took place last weekend on Saturday 22nd and Sunday the 23rd. This was the ninth such event with an overall total of $2,5000,000 funds raised. Numbers were down a little this year but as usual the enthusiasm was as strong as ever.
The Lord Mayer of Perth was there this year and it was great that 897FM was acknowledged as one of the events supporters in the program.
The ten year celebrations is set to be a big one so I hope that in 2017 we can again get behind this worthy event!
