Betty Maas
Description
A long-term volunteer in sport, Betty was invited to join 89 7FM just before COVID-19 Pandemic as a receptionist. Considered an all-rounder, her passions include data analysis, coaching, community, and generally helping others.
Betty was the inaugural Business Manager at Whitford Hockey Club when the club moved from Whitford to Warwick in 2017. Betty also served on the Committee for a short period and has been a member since 2001. Prior, Betty was a National accredited Softball umpire before retiring in the early 2000’s. Betty has worked and is currently employed at ECU, where the station is located.
Betty brings to the Board, membership and the community we serve at learge, engagement and opportunities.

Melissa Ellis
Description
Melissa has been with 89 7FM since 2023, starting as the membership coordinator then moving into the outside broadcast coordinator role.
She has a legal background, having previously worked as a lawyer and, strangely, actually enjoys dealing with contracts and paperwork!
Melissa is excited to help out wherever she can to keep the station moving forward, while acknowledging its long history in the community.

Lisa Evans
Description
Lisa is the host of ‘In Good Company’, which has been on-air at 89 7FM for the last two years. Always focused on community, Lisa loves to bring in special guests to chat about topics that are of interest to our members; from sustainability to the arts.

Alan Griffiths
Description
Alan has been bringing music you won’t find on other stations to our airwaves since 2010. Both hosting his own Sunday show and joining host Rhonda on ‘Thursday Kickback’.
