Hymns we Love & Grace and Truth with Pastor John Shriver

Description

A very special early set of programs presented for our listeners of the Christian faith.

Start your Sunday morning early, wake up, pull up a pew and listen to the teachings of the Graceline Congregational Church led by Pastor John Shriver.

Take the opportunity to sing in harmony with the church choir as they perform a selection of divine songs.

8.00am – 10.00am (Weekly)

Sunday Chill with Margaret Meadows

Description

Relax into your Sunday morning with Margaret as she plays a mix of chilled tunes and acoustic favourites.

Margaret’s extensive knowledge of music is showcased as she features a different artist each week. She will play a number of tracks from them, providing thoughtful insights into their careers and music milestones.

Regular segments include “The Birthday List” and “Useless Information.”

10.00am – 12.00pm (Weekly)

Country Roads with Steve Willis

Description

Country Roads is a blend of country and folk music and all related sub genres. 

Steve plays an eclectic mix from decades past and today’s great sounds throughout the course of his two-hour program. Regular segments include “On this Day in Country Music” where he plays tracks with historical significance and his trademark segment “Odd but Even” where he ventures into another musical genre and plays a track that is odd in nature but even in quality.

A John Denver track is usually also on the playlist.

Top Shelf Music with Duncan Smith

Description

Top shelf music has been on the air since 2001 and is presented on the last Sunday each month, by one of the stations Life Members, Duncan Smith.

Duncan plays three tracks from six new and recent albums from a wide variety of genres. Duncan will play you the “best music on the planet,” keeping you up to date with the latest albums, artists and news.

In addition, his regular “Time Out” segment features lost tracks from the past.

“So much music, so little time.”

2.00pm – 4.00pm (Weekly)

The Wall of Sound with Chris Webb

Description

Chris Webb has been presenting the Wall of Sound since 2001 and is a station Life Member.

Affectionately known as “The Local Yokel,” Chris explores all music genres, playing anything from anywhere! You will hear tracks you may not have heard before, as you broaden your music knowledge, as well as hearing some classics you’re sure to know and love.

The “King” for Chris is of course, Elvis Presley.

4.00pm – 6.00pm (Weekly)

Sunday Sounds with Alan Griffiths

Description

On air since 2010 Sunday sounds has been a staple of our Sunday programming.

Join Alan as he plays a selection of music not likely to be heard on other stations, feature albums in their entirety and often A and B side singles from artists.

Alan also usually features a top 40 countdown on a monthly basis from a year in the past, accompanying these tracks with other music from the same year. Sunday Sounds is pure listening pleasure.

Play the Blues with Derek Cromb

Description

Derek Cromb has been presenting Play the Blues since 2001 and is a station Life Member.

Join Derek each week as he presents his feature artist and plays four tracks from their new or recent album together with the best blues tracks in town.

Regular segments include “Something Old, Something New” where he plays the original version of a track followed by a new or recent cover. Derek is sure to play music from new and exciting artists that you will enjoy.

Commencing on 17th September 2023, Back in the Day with Mark Pisarskis is your portal to the past every Sunday Night.

Re-live the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s as Mark (and occasionally Jasmine) discuss good times and play the music of your memories.

Dripping with nostalgia and hopefully a few laughs, we’ll fill your Sunday evenings with memories from live gigs, all-nighters, boom-boxes, and blue light discos.
