On behalf of the Board and Members of 89 7FM, our deepest condolences go out to his wife Irene, his family, friends, and all who knew him. Colin’s impact on community radio and sports broadcasting is incredible, and his remarkable commitment has significantly shaped our community here at 89 7FM.

Vice-Chairperson Sue Myc expressed her sympathies, “So very sad to hear. Colin worked very hard with Irene throughout the years, bringing much needed income for the station through his work in sales. He was a lovely man. Love and thoughts to Irene and all his family.”

Presenter Max Wilson remembers Colin fondly as “an amazing man who was a pioneer for community radio, and the driver of Talking Sport for many years.” Adding he will be, “sadly missed, but great memories continue.”

Presenter Clive Adams took the time to thank Colin for his efforts, “What a wonderful man. On Saturday’s show we will take the time to honour Colin’s memory as he so richly deserves. RIP Colin, and thank you for your support of me, the show and the tireless work you have done for the 89 7FM community.”

Together, they will be honour Colin’s memory on Saturday Morning between 8am-11am during Talking Sport with Clive, Max and the Crew.

Rest in Peace Colin Radalj. Your spirit will forever be a part of 89 7FM and your legacy continues to inspire us all.
