On April 14, we took our broadcast outdoors – live from ECU Joondalup’s Open Day – a fantastic showcase of the university! We had enriching chats with Brendan from the Australian Maritime College about maritime engineering and student exchange opportunities, Emma from the ECU Tax Clinic on the free services available for community members, and Professor Daryoush Habibi, Executive Dean of Engineering.
On air, we were joined by Cambo (Friday Free for All), Sue Myc (The Wednesday Morning Show), Mark Pisarskis (The Friday Morning Show; Back in the Day), Lee Selby (90’s Spin), and Margaret Meadows (Friday on My Mind), who brought their best to the microphone. Behind the scenes, Steve Willis (Chairperson; Country Roads with Steve Willis), Melissa Pearsall (Outside Broadcast Coordinator), Kim Harrison (Board Member; The Best of Oz with Kim Harrison), Anna Italiano (Programming Coordinator), Chris Webb (The Wall of Sound), and Deborah Czerkasow (Membership Coordinator) helped make sure everything ran smoothly.
