Mental health is always a priority, and it can be difficult to help others when you don’t know where to start. The City of Stirling is providing a free two-day Mental Health first aid course on the 14th and 15th of June.
You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
After completing a standard Mental Health First Aid course, participants are eligible to complete an online assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. Accreditation lasts for a period of 3 years.
