Plant & Paint in the Park

Enjoy a wonderful morning in the park, planting trees and painting umbrellas!

Plant & Paint in the Park is an opportunity to celebrate trees by:

• Planting a large legacy tree in the parkland adjacent to Monyash Reserve, Carine
• Painting a stunning umbrella with help from ArtyBrellas and take home a reminder of the shade, shelter and cooling properties of trees
• Enjoying a picnic and play in the stunning surrounds of the parkland (a sausage sizzle will also be provided by the Lions Club)

Planting opportunities are limited to 40 trees – so families or small community groups (4 people maximum) are encouraged to band-together and plant one tree. Photographs of your group and your tree will be available to download after the event.

All materials will be provided, but please wear appropriate clothing for painting, and enclosed shoes for planting.
